Truly Inspirational

Well hello: I am still not getting used to having a black President in the White House. It is funny how people make jokes though about certain things that were dominated by white people but now have black people involved in them. For example, I heard someone talk about that is why they call the white house the white house: it is for white people and not black. And someone else made the joke about does it mean that now they need to change the name to the black house. Too funny. And remember when Tiger Woods won the Masters in Golf. Someone joked that it was called the Masters because black people were not supposed to be in it, much less win it. But needless to say, I am just very excited about the changing times of America and the acceptance of this much needed act to happen.

I was also viewing a video about some blood gang members who were saying that this is what a black man is supposed to do: get themselves up and bring up the others. Show them how to get out of their foolishness and do what is good. They were referring also to how Jim Jones and Lil Wayne were now repping that they were gang members. They were perplexed as they did not understand how you could do that when you have made a name for yourself doing something that should teach young people to at least give themselves a chance to make it. Anyhoo, to each his own. But I agree with the bangers. Don't do good or become successful and then want to be gangsta. Amazing how it appears that a successful black man can't own up to his success without wanting to do something negative to make a name for themselves as if being famous for rapping isn't enough. Sad, but true.
